Celebrate fair trade month by supporting artisans!
From now until November 15th, use the code "ArtisanRelief" when placing your order and we will donate 10% of your order value to support relief and reconstruction efforts for our artisans in Assam, India.
In July deadly clashes broke out between the indigenous Bodo people and Muslim settlers in the Bodoland region of Assam, India. Homes and crop fields all over the countryside were burned to the ground, causing over 200,000 people to be internally displaced- often moving into over-crowded refugee camps. Many of the weavers we work with and their families are either still in these camps or recently returned. Some have lost their homes, crops or community resources.
